Climbing New Zealand's Boulder & Rope B Nationals 2026/27 will take place in Auckland on October 31 and November 1, featuring national championships for U11, U13, and U15 age categories. The two-day event splits boulder climbing on Saturday at Northern Rocks and rope climbing (top-rope for younger categories, lead for U15) on Sunday at Birkenhead Pool & Leisure Centre. The competition format departs from traditional qualifier/final structure, with climbers facing multiple problems or routes that each count toward final rankings, and the boulder problems will be set in Australian Youth Nationals style to serve as preparation for international competition and squad selection.
